During our stay in Munich for STROKE Art Fair, photorealistic painter Case of the infamous Ma’Claim crew opened his solo-show “Power of Movement” MUCA, just around the corner of the fair. Our reporters in chief Alex Pope and Ed Little visited the VIP opening and took photos and videos of new stunning artwork.
The exhibition Power of the Movement reflects the multi-faceted 2013 by the artist. Two motifs are been particularly influential: Hands and pigeons. As the exhibition title suggests, it should go to the ambiguity of the term Movement, on the one hand as an actual physical movement of the body, but also as a political movement. The two chosen motifs illustrate the process on the richness of art can fall back to one and to show the same motif in all its variations and forms. Often a gesture speaks a thousand words.
