As the Stroke Art Fair is coming to an end, we can look back on a very successful 5 days in Munich. Business has been good, but we have had a great time with our friends as well. The third day at Stroke closed off with a great party, making the start of day 4 quite the challenge. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t really helping out either, as the rain came down on Munich rather ferociously, putting a stop on all the planned live painting.
The last day at Stroke could not have been any better though. A glorious Bavarian sunshine provided a beautiful backdrop for the perfect closing day. With once again a great crowd in attendance, the original closing time of 18:00 was lengthened until 19:00. We took the opportunity with a smile, and we can’t imagine the other galleries being unhappy about this either.
With the weather being in fine form, live painting at Stroke was in full effect again. Base 23 and Push from Germany ripped it, saving some of the best work for last. With that being said, we really want to big up all artists at Stroke, as we have seen some truly quality work. As we’re heading back to Amsterdam, we can most definitely look back at another great experience in Munich. We are now looking forward to the upcoming Urban Art Festival at the OT301. We hope to see you all in Amsterdam!
