Amsterdam and the Netherlands are more than present during the Art Basel week in Miami this year. Besides events and presentations in Wynwood and at Scope Art Fair, several respected Dutch artists participate in BRIDGE – the Dutch Pavilion exhibition.
After a year long break, Reflexo on Urban Art (aka R.U.A.) Festival is back in town organising large murals in Amsterdam’s infamous area Heesterveld.
Urban Art Festival presented 40 international artists in a big group exhibition, large-scale mural paintings and a series of side-events. The festival location OT301 was packed with visitors and everybody had a blast at the event. We have photos and videos for you after the jump to get a little glimpse of our focus event!
Spanish artist Anna Taratiel, better known as Ovni, is excited for the Urban Art Festival Amsterdam show. Even though she was very busy with her solo show at Battalion (read), the past weeks she has been working on her artwork for the upcoming show at OT301. Urban Art Now had a chat with Ovni prior to the festival about her solo show, ‘me.i’, tape and installations.
Yesterday we joined in at Battalion Gallery Amsterdam for Spanish artist OVNI’s long awaited solo-show “Me.I”.
